Gig at the Sando
The gig on Wednesday night at the Sando in Newtown was a lot of fun. Being only our second gig an all, it was still a bit nerve-wracking, but by about half-way through the set it was feeling pretty good.
The room is pretty small, and thanks to the early start, and a good turnout for us and The Famous (who played a great first gig - very tight, retro-80s inspired pop) the room felt pretty full. Thanks for everyone that came down.
Y’all were very attentive - which is a blessing and a curse in a sense. On the one hand it was very cool that it seemed everyone was digging the show and really listening. On the other hand, it ups the nerves level ‘coz up on stage you know that any mistakes are probably going to be spotted by someone out there…
Anyways - Charlie Brewer (who I don’t know personally, but might be a friend of one of the other guys) has posted some pics over at Flickr. (Don’t forget to tag any photos with “fuzu” so we can check ‘em out).
Thanks again for all of you that came down - it made the night a big success for us. We’re really pumped to get out there more now - hopefully we’ll have some more gigs lined up shortly.
